Taking a stand in today’s world for morality, ethics, God can be a tough situation. When you do, there will be people who won’t like you for it. They’ll call you names and threaten you in an effort to silence you. People will hate you for standing up for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Society has moved away from the ideal that with hard work and dedication, you can make a great life for yourself.
Today, that’s okay as long as you are willing to give it all away to help those who are basically doing nothing to get ahead. If you don’t give it away willingly, then today, our government will find a way to take it. In taking a stand for what you believe in, we cannot be “wishy-washy”. We must be passionate and committed to our cause. We shouldn’t get our feelings hurt easily, but have such a strong conviction that nothing will deter us.
The side of Nigeria that truly hates our way of life is committed and they are winning the argument because of their commitment. Let’s be people who will stand for the unborn, the right to enjoy success and for the principles found in God’s Word. Never back down. If God is for you, who can be against you? When you’ve done all that you know to do, STAND.
