Day 21 of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting: Our Year of Divine Settlement

Theme: Commitment to God’s Will and Purpose

Today’s Scripture: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” – Romans 12:1

Welcome to Day 21, the final day of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. As we conclude this sacred time, our focus is on Commitment to God’s Will and Purpose. Romans 12:1 calls us to a life of dedication, presenting ourselves as living sacrifices to God, which is our true worship. This commitment goes beyond words; it is lived out in our daily actions, decisions, and priorities.

As we step forward from this period of prayer and fasting, let’s carry with us a renewed dedication to fulfilling God’s will in our lives, embracing His plans with faith and obedience.

Today’s Prayer Focus:

Pray for a heart that seeks after God’s will, desiring His plans above your own.

Ask God to reveal His purposes for your life and to give you the courage to follow through.

Pray for the strength to live out your commitment to God in all aspects of life, personal, professional, and spiritual.

Ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in making decisions that align with God’s will.

Pray for the discipline to maintain a prayerful attitude and a lifestyle of worship beyond this fasting period.

Seek clarity and direction in any areas of uncertainty, trusting that God will lead you.

Ask God to help you to be a living testimony of His love and grace to those around you.

Pray for the resolve to resist temptations that may lead you away from your commitment to God.

Ask for God’s blessings and protection as you step out in faith to fulfill His purposes.

Pray for the global church that it may be united and effective in carrying out God’s will on earth.

Word of Encouragement: As you commit to living according to God’s will, remember that His plans for you are for good, to give you a future and hope. Let this commitment be the start of a more profound, more meaningful journey with God, marked by faith, obedience, and love.

Let us pray:

Gracious and Almighty God, as we mark the end of our 21 days of prayer and fasting, we renew our commitment to You and Your purposes. Empower us by Your Spirit to live lives that honor You, to be effective witnesses of Your grace, and to serve Your kingdom with all our hearts. May our dedication to Your will be evident in our every word and action. Thank You for Your guidance, strength, and unfailing love. In Jesus’ Name, we commit to Your will and purpose, Amen.
