| He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, “to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,” and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
The anointed ministry of John the Baptist took up where Elijah left off generations earlier. An angel told John’s father, Zacharias, before his son’s birth, “He will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God” (Luke 1:16 nkjv). Look closely at these passages in Malachi and Luke again, because they describe what your life is going to be like from now on! Our mission from God right now is to make ready the people and prepare them for Jesus. No, I am not talking about preparing them for the Second Coming. We must prepare the people so the Holy Spirit can move among us and reveal Christ right now. That is the only way we will see the miraculous power of God move in this generation of harvest. Only then will God manifest His glory before the world. It is my opinion that if we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness in absolute obedience to His Word, then the events of the end times will take care of themselves in God’s perfect time.

Guide my steps and anoint my way as I speak the truth and urge everyone I meet to seek You and to yield to the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit of God.
