Welcome to Day 17 of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. Today, we bring our focus to the blessings of children and the prayers for those seeking spouses. Scripture reminds us that children are indeed a heritage from the Lord, precious gifts to be cherished and guided. Likewise, for those seeking the partnership of marriage, we lift our prayers for God’s leading and wisdom in finding the spouse He has prepared.
Today, let mothers, fathers, and future parents unite in prayer, seeking God’s protection, guidance, and blessings for our children and future families.
Today’s Prayer Focus:
Pray for God’s protective hand over your children, covering them in health, safety, and spiritual growth.
Ask the Lord to guide your children in their decisions, relationships, and paths, leading them towards His plans and purposes.
Pray for wisdom and strength for parents and guardians to raise their children in the fear and knowledge of the Lord.
Seek God’s provision and blessings for your children’s physical, emotional, and educational needs.
For those seeking a spouse, ask God for patience, discernment, and guidance in finding the right partner who honours Him.
Pray for healing and preparation for those who have experienced past hurts or relationships so that they may be ready for the spouse God has for them.
Ask God to bless your family with love, unity, and peace, reflecting His love in your home.
Pray for single parents and guardians that they may be strengthened and supported as they lead their households.
Seek God’s intervention in the lives of wayward children, praying for their return to faith and family.
Pray for the church to be a supportive community for children and families, guiding and nurturing them in love.
Word of Encouragement:Â Whether nurturing children or awaiting a spouse, remember that God’s timing and plans are perfect. Entrust your desires and your loved ones to Him, and He will bring forth His best in His perfect time.
Let us pray:
Lord, on this seventeenth day, we lift our children and those among us seeking spouses. Bless our little ones with your grace, and keep them safe under your watchful eyes. Guide those seeking life partners and prepare them for the joys and challenges of a godly marriage. Fill our homes with Your presence, and may Your peace and love reign in our families. We entrust our desires and our loved ones to Your loving hands, confident in Your perfect will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
