Day 1 of 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting: Our Year of Divine Settlement

Good morning, beloved family of Powerhouse Holy Ghost Ministry International!
As we embark on this sacred journey together, let us start our day with the word of God and a heart full of expectation.
Today’s Scripture: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
Devotional:
On this first day of our collective fasting and prayer, let’s reflect on the invitation Jesus extends to us. He calls us to lay down our burdens at His feet. As we fast and seek His face, let us bring our worries, pains, and unsettled matters before Him, trusting in His promise to give us rest. What burdens do you need to surrender to the Lord today to experience His divine settlement?
Today, we focus our prayers on personal renewal and spiritual awakening. Let’s ask the Lord to refresh our spirits, to awaken our souls, and to rekindle our passion for Him. Pray for a heart open to God’s word and His guidance.
Encouraging Thought:
“God’s plans for your life far exceed the circumstances of your day.” Let this be a reminder that no matter what we face, God holds our future, and he plans to prosper us, not harm us.
Practical Tip for Fasting and Prayer:
As we begin, set your intentions for this fasting period. Dedicate a specific time and place for daily prayer. Remember, fasting is not just abstaining from food but also a time to feast on God’s Word.
Closing Prayer:
Heavenly Father, as we step into this time of fasting and prayer, we lay our lives before You. We seek Your divine settlement in every unsettled area of our lives. Refresh our spirits and guide our steps. Help us to feel Your presence more deeply than ever before. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Engagement:
Share your thoughts or how we can pray for you today. Let’s support and uplift each other in our spiritual walk. Remember, you are not alone; we are in this together as a family under Christ.
Additional Prayer Points for Day 1:
Spiritual Renewal: Pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your life and the entire church. Ask God to renew your faith, restore your joy, and rekindle your first love for Christ.
Wisdom and Guidance: Ask the Lord for wisdom and clarity for the year ahead. Pray for divine direction in personal decisions, church initiatives, and all areas requiring discernment.
Healing and Restoration: Bring before God all who are in need of physical, emotional, or spiritual healing. Pray for God’s healing hand to touch every sick body and troubled heart within your community.
Families and Relationships: Pray for divine settlement in families and relationships within the church. Ask God to mend broken relationships, strengthen bonds, and fill each home with His peace and love.
Outreach and Evangelism: Lift your church’s outreach efforts. Pray for the salvation of unsaved family members, friends, and your wider community. Ask God to open doors for the gospel and prepare hearts to receive His word.
National and Global Issues: Pray for your country and leaders, as well as global peace and stability. Ask God to intervene in the affairs of nations and to guide leaders to make wise decisions that align with His righteousness and justice.
Personal Requests: We encourage every member of our community to confidently bring their personal needs and desires before God during this sacred time. Whether your requests are big or small, remember that God’s power and love know no bounds. Trust in His ability to work profoundly and positively in your life. As you fast and pray, open your heart and share your deepest wishes with the Lord, believing that He hears every word and can act powerfully in response to your faith. Please feel free to share your prayer needs with us so that we can support you in prayer as well. Remember, in God’s eyes, every detail of your life is significant, and no prayer is too minor or too grand.
Blessings,
