THE VERSE FOR TODAY
After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The Spirit of our Holy God is both powerful and mighty. that was something that the early Church went through. They were filled with the Spirit, the gathering hall practically shook with the force of the Spirit, and they went out and preached with confidence. God wishes to infuse you with the same Holy Spirit that he did thousands of years ago. “To be under the influence of” is the definition of the word “fill.” It is now relatively easy to become overwhelmed by emotions. Fear, grief, and fury can consume you or bring you under their control. These intense feelings can take control of your life. Today, though, you have an option. Instead of allowing painful feelings to consume you, you might welcome the Holy Spirit to guide, direct, and fill your life with His presence. This filling produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control due to its operation. You want to be surrounded by things that make you feel good, don’t you? Today, pray for God to infuse you with His Spirit.
THE PRAYER FOR TODAY
I thank You, Father, for the presence of Your Holy Spirit in our midst. I pray that You would fill me with Your Spirit and bring about love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in my life. I thank You in advance for your help.
