TODAY’S VERSE
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.
Psalms 103:11-13
TODAY’S THOUGHT:
Guilt is a powerful and destructive emotion. It can affect us both emotionally and physically, draining us of our strength and causing us much grief. But there is a way to find freedom from guilt, and it is through the forgiveness offered by the death of Jesus Christ. When we accept His death on the cross as the penalty for our misdeeds and confess our wrongdoing, God is swift to forgive and cleanse us. Our personal history, with all its pain and regret, is removed from God’s sight and as far as the east is from the west.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
Father, thank you for the ultimate sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, for my sins. Thank you for your unconditional love that removes all my guilt and casts it into the deep sea. I confess and renounce any wrongdoing and ask for your forgiveness and cleansing. I praise you for the unbelievable grace you give to me. In Jesus’ name,
