Day 21 March 21st, 2023

Theme: Freedom in Christ.

Congratulations on completing your 21 days of prayer and fasting! As we conclude this time of seeking the Lord, the theme for the last day of prayer and fasting is “Freedom in Christ.”

Message:
Freedom in Christ is a theme that runs through the entire Bible. Jesus came to set us free from the bondage of sin, and it is only through Him that we can experience true freedom. As we reflect on this theme today, let us remember that we have been set free from the chains of sin, and we are no longer slaves to its power.

Bible Verses:
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” – John 8:36 (NIV)
“For freedom, Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” – Galatians 5:1 (ESV)
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” – 2 Corinthians 3:17 (ESV).
As we reflect on these verses, we can see that freedom in Christ is a powerful truth that we can hold on to. Through Christ, we have been set free from the power of sin, and we are no longer slaves to its hold on our lives. This means that we can experience true freedom in our daily lives, and we can walk in the fullness of all that God has for us.
However, this freedom also comes with a responsibility. We must not use our freedom as an excuse to sin, but instead, we should use it as an opportunity to serve the Lord with all our hearts. We should stand firm in our faith and not allow ourselves to be drawn back into the yoke of slavery.
As we conclude this time of prayer and fasting, let us remember that the freedom we have in Christ is a precious gift. Let us not take it for granted, but instead, let us use it to live our lives in a way that honours God. May we walk in the fullness of all that God has for us, and may we use our freedom to serve Him with all our hearts.

1. Thank God for the grace and strength to complete the 21 days of prayer and fasting and for the freedom we have in Christ.
2. Ask God to forgive us for any sins or shortcomings we may have had during the 21 days of prayer and fasting.
3. Pray for a greater revelation of the freedom we have in Christ and that we would walk in that freedom every day.
4. Ask God to help us let go of any chains or bondages that may still be holding us back and hindering us from experiencing true freedom in Christ.
5. Pray for a renewed mind and heart to live according to God’s will and purposes for our lives.
6. Ask God to give us the strength and courage to resist any temptation that may come our way and to stand firm in our faith.

8. Ask God to reveal any areas of our lives where we may need to seek reconciliation and forgiveness with others and to give us the humility and courage to do so.
9. Pray for a deeper intimacy with God and a hunger for His word and presence in our lives.
10. Ask God to continue to guide and lead us in the path of righteousness, and to help us to fulfill His purpose and calling for our lives.

Final Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of freedom that we have in Christ. We thank you that through Him, we have been set free from the power of sin and death. As we conclude this time of prayer and fasting, we ask that you help us to remember the freedom that we have in Christ. May we use it to serve you with all our hearts, and may we never take it for granted. Help us to stand firm in our faith, and may we always walk in the fullness of all that you have for us. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
