TODAY’S VERSE:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
TODAY’S THOUGHT:
This Good Friday brings us hope as we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the sins of humanity. The weight of our sins was heavy upon Him, but He bore it all out of love for us. As we reflect on this day, we can find comfort in knowing that through His death and resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death and provided a way for us to have eternal life with Him. We can hold onto this hope and trust His unfailing love for us.
Prayer Points:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your unconditional love and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins.
Lord Jesus, thank you for willingly laying down your life for us and for conquering sin and death through your resurrection.
We pray for forgiveness for our sins and ask for the strength to resist temptation and live a life that honors you.
Heavenly Father, we ask for the grace to trust in your unfailing love and find hope in your Son’s sacrifice.
Lord Jesus, we pray that those who do not yet know you may come to believe in you and experience the hope and joy from your relationship.
We ask for comfort and healing for those who are struggling, those who are grieving, and those who are facing difficult circumstances.
Heavenly Father, we pray for your Church that we may be strengthened in our faith and be a light in a world that desperately needs hope.
Lord Jesus, we ask for guidance and wisdom as we seek to live a life that reflects your love and grace to those around us.
We pray for the courage to stand firm in our faith, even facing opposition or persecution.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the hope that we have in you and ask that you would continue to draw us closer to you each day. Amen.
