Day 5 – March 5th, 2023

Theme: Breaking the Chains of Unforgiveness

Message: “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” – Matthew 6:14-15

Greetings, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Today, as we continue on our journey of prayer and fasting, we focus on the theme of Breaking the Chains of Unforgiveness.

Our message is taken from Matthew 6:14-15, which reminds us that forgiveness is essential in our walk with God. If we forgive others their trespasses, our Heavenly Father will also forgive us. But if we do not forgive others, our Father will not forgive us either. So, let us ask God to reveal any areas of unforgiveness in our hearts and help us release them.

Let us pray for the grace to forgive those who have hurt us and let go of bitterness and resentment. May God help us see others through His eyes and love them as He loves them. And let us pray for the courage to seek forgiveness from those we have wronged, and for the healing of broken relationships.

We must have a heart of compassion and empathy towards those who have hurt us, and ask God to help us extend forgiveness, even when it feels impossible or undeserved. Let us also pray for those who are struggling with unforgiveness, that they may find freedom and healing in Christ.

Remember, forgiveness is not just a one-time event, but a daily choice. We must ask God to give us a heart that is quick to forgive and slow to anger. And we must pray for God to break the chains of unforgiveness in our lives and fill our hearts with His love and grace.

May this Word of Encouragement inspire us to reflect the forgiveness that God has extended to us. Let us choose to release bitterness and resentment daily and choose love and grace instead. May you experience the freedom and healing that comes from forgiving others and being forgiven by God. Amen.

Remain Blessed.
