Beliefs

The PowerHouse Holyghost Ministry International operates for the reasons listed below:

1. To advance Trinitarian worship (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).

2. To proclaim and teach the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, to methodically edify Christians, to organize the church, and to save the lost.

3. To carry out, to the extent permitted by God, the divine commission of Matthew 28:19-20 to win people to Christ, baptize them, and teach them the complete counsel of God.

Belief Statement

The Holy Scriptures

Every word of the Holy Scriptures, including the Old and New Testaments (in their original languages before translation), is equally and completely inspired. His exceptional care has preserved the integrity of the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is infallible and free of error. They are the ultimate and highest authority on all topics they address and the norm for faith and conduct. Old and New Testaments include all of God’s revelation to humankind. Romans 3:2, Matthew 5:18, John 10:35, Psalms 19:7-11, and 2 Timothy 3:15-17.

Divinity

We believe in a Triune God who eternally exists simultaneously in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is co-eternal, possesses the same force and brilliance, and possesses the same characteristics and perfections. Matthew 28:19, Exodus 3:14, John 1:14-18, 14:10-11, and 15:26) (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2nd Corinthians 13:14; 1st John 5:6-8; Exodus 3:14; Matthew 28:19; John 1:14-18; 14:10-11; 15:26).

The Person and Work of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God. Through the conception of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the virgin Mary, God’s eternal Son became human without sacrificing his deity. He lived a life of impeccable holiness to reveal God’s glory and redeem sinners. (John 1:1- 2; Luke 1:35; Philippians 2:1- 5; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 2 Corinthians 5:19- 21; Galatians 4:4-5)

We believe that Jesus Christ, the Lord, is the Son of God. His substitutionary death on the cross atoned for our sins, and His literal, bodily resurrection guarantees our redemption. (1 Peter 1:1–3; 2:24; Romans 3:24–25; Ephesians 1:7)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, where he now governs. “beyond all principality, power, might, and dominion” at the right hand of God, where He also serves as our High Priest and carries out the Ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate. Acts 1:19–10; 2:33–36; Ephesians 1:19–23; Revelation 1:5; 3:21; Hebrews 9:24–27; Romans 8:34; I John 2:1–2)

The Holy Spirit’s Person and Activities

We value the Bible because it is inspired by the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, calls, regenerates, and baptizes Christians into the body of Christ, sealing and indwelling them until the Day of redemption.

Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:40; Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 4:30).

We believe He is the Divine Teacher who teaches Christians how to interpret and apply the Bible correctly. Both their rights and duties are infused with the Holy Spirit (John 16:13; 1st John 2:20,27; Eph. 1:17-18; 5:18).

We think God’s sovereignty extends to all Christians’ spiritual gifts. God uniquely employs evangelists, pastors, and educators to equip Christians to fulfil the ministry’s purpose. (12:4–11,28; Romans 12:3–8).

The Holy Spirit’s manifestation gifts, such as tongues and healing, were temporary. Never was speaking in tongues a requirement or attribute of Holy Spirit baptism or Spirit filling. In addition, although Christians believe the resurrection will restore the body to health and immortality, God often grants believers requests for physical healing. 13:8–14:22; 1 Peter 1:1–3; James 5:13–15). 13:8–14:22; 1 Peter 1:1–3; 1 Peter 1:1–3; 1 Peter 1:1–3; 1 Peter 13:8–14:22; 1 Peter 1:1–3; James 5:13–15). 13:8–14:22; 1 Peter 1:1–3; 1 Peter 1:1–3; 1 Peter 1:1–3; 1 Peter

Complete Depravity of Man

While we believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, we also believe that, as a result of Adam’s fall, the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became estranged from God. Man cannot rectify his lost condition or acquire the Spirit’s gifts on his own (Gen. 1:26-27; Rom. 3:23; 5:12; Eph. 2:1-3;4:17-19; Jer 13:23; Rom. 5:6; 1st Cor. 2:14).

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift from God. Given gratuitously by divine grace and won by repentance and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. On Calvary, his precious blood was shed for our sins. Before the world’s creation, the Father chose individuals for His pleasure; the Son redeems them, and the Holy Spirit regenerates them. Except for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, we forgive all sins. (Eph. 2:8–10; Luke 13:3; 1 John 1:9; 1 Peter 1:18–19; Eph.

Perseverance and Confidence of Believers

We believe that everyone who has been effectively called and sanctified by Christ is supported by the power of God and will never fall from grace but will persevere in grace to the end and be forever saved. (John 6:37–40, 44, 65; Romans 8:1–38; 1 Corinthians 1:4–8; Philippians 1:6; 1 Peter 1:4-5)

Anybody who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ and loves Him with all their heart and desires to live following His will can be persuaded that they are in a state of grace. This confidence is based on Christ’s blood and righteousness as revealed in the Gospel, the inner evidence of the Holy Spirit’s graces, and the Holy Spirit’s testimony on the Spirit of adoption. (Titus 2:11-15; Romans 13:13-14; 1st John 2:3; 3:14, 18, 19,21,24; 5:13; 1st John 5:4-9; Romans 5:1-5; 8:14-16; 1st John 5:4-9; 1st John 5:4-9; 1st John 5:4-9; 1st John 5:4-9; 1st John 5:4-9; 1st John 5:4-9; 1st

Liberty and Conscience for Christians

We believe that via the Gospel, Christ purchased liberty for all believers. It includes freedom from the guilt of sin, the condemnation that follows guilt, freedom from God’s wrath, and freedom from the harshness and curse of God’s law. Additionally, it implies limitless access to God and infantile submission to Him. (1 Corinthians 15:56–57, Galatians 3:13–14, Hebrews 10:19–21, Acts 26:18, 1 John 3:3, 7, 9, 4:18)

We believe that God is the one Lord of the Supreme Consciousness. He has freed it from any obligation to adopt or submit to artificial beliefs or demands incompatible with or contradicts His Word. Acts 5:29) (Romans 14:4; James 4:12; Matthew 15:9; Acts 4:19; 1 Corinthians 7:23; 2 Thessalonians 2:20–23; Acts 5:29).

We believe that committing any evil or harbouring the horrible desire to sin under the pretext of Christian liberty undermines the basic purpose of the Gospel of grace.

Galatians 5:13; 2 Peter 2:18–21; Romans 6:1-2)

The Energized Church

We think the entire church is immune to the internal operation of the Holy Spirit in the truth of grace. The full elect who have been, are being or will be gathered under Christ’s leadership into one body, the church, have been, are being, or will be gathered into one body. The church is the wife, body, and fulfilment of Christ, which “satisfies all in all.” (1 Corinthians 1:18; Hebrews 12:22–23; Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:23,27,32; Philippians 1:6–7).

We believe the local church should consist of individuals who profess faith in the Gospel and are willing to surrender to God via Christ. (Refer to Romans 1:7, 1 Corinthians 1:2, and Acts 15:22,28-30.)

We believe that the Scriptures of the New Testament provide guidelines for organizing and maintaining local churches. Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:25, and Titus 1:5).

We view the Lord’s Supper and baptism by immersion as the two sacraments of obedience in the church. (Acts 2:41, 42; Matthew 28:19, 20, 10:16, 11:23, 26)

The Day of Christ

Christians routinely observe the Lord’s Day for public and private worship, spiritual devotion, and pleasure. It is permissible to engage in acts of charity and humanity. (Matthew 28:1; Exodus 31:12-17; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2; Revelation 1:10; Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:10-11; Luke 13:15-16; Matthew 12:11-12; Revelation 1:10; Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:10-11; Luke 13:15-16; Matthew 12:11-12; Revelation 1:10; Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:10-11; Luke 13:15-16; Matthew 12:

Separation

All redeemed people should conduct themselves in a manner that does not disrespect their Savior and Lord. God commands His people to renounce all forms of religious apostasy and all sinful pleasures, habits, and associations. Second Corinthians 6:14–7:1, Second Timothy 3:1–5, First John 2:15–17, and Second John 9–11.

The Second Coming of Christ and the Eternal State

Jesus will soon physically return to Earth. Matthew 24:36–51; Matthew 25:31–34; Job 19:25. 1:10; 4:13–18; 2 Thessalonians 1:7–10; Titus 2:13).

We believe that all people will be bodily resurrected, with the saved obtaining eternal life and the lost getting eternal punishment. (Job 14:12; 19:25-27; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54; Daniel 12:2, 13; Matthew 25:46; John 6:39-44,54; Revelation 20:12-13).

We believe that after death, the souls of the redeemed are present with the Lord, where they await their bodily resurrection and eternal glory with the Lord. Luke 23:43; 1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 2 Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 1:23; 3:21; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 2 Corinthians 5:8.

We believe that the souls of unbelievers continue to endure conscious punishment and pain after death until they are cast into the Lake of Fire, not to be destroyed, but to endure endless conscious punishment and torment. The book of Revelation 20:11–15 (2nd Thessalonians 1:7-9). Luke 16:19-26; Matthew 25:41-46; Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:43-48; Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:43-48; Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:43-48; Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:43-48; Mark

Satan’s Character

As Christians, we believe Satan is a real person who caused the Fall of Mankind and will spend eternity in Hellfire. (Job 1:6-7, Matthew 4:12–11, John 8:44, Isaiah 14:12–17, Matthew 25:41, Revelation 20:10)

Creation

According to our religious beliefs, God created the universe in six literal 24-hour days. We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and theistic evolution as unbiblical origin theories. (Genesis 1:1-2; Exodus 20:11; Psalms 33:6-9; 89:47; Matthew 10:6; Matthew 13:19; Acts 4:24; Romans 1:10; 2 Corinthians 4:6; Hebrews 1:1; Hebrews 11:3; Revelation 4:11; Revelation 14:7).

Administration Civile

We believe that God ordained and created all authority. Each individual is bound by three fundamental institutions: the family, the church, and the state. Everyone is accountable to God and subject to His Word, including rulers. Each organization is endowed with particular biblical responsibilities by God. Peter 2:13–14; Hebrews 13:17; Eph 5:22–24) (1 Peter 2:13–14; Heb. 13:17; Eph. 5:22–24) (Rom. 13:1–7; 1 Peter 2:13–14; Heb. 13:17; Eph. 5:22–24)

Sexuality among Humans

We think God forbade intimate sexual connections between men and women outside marriage. We believe homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornographic perversions are all sex gift anomalies. We believe that any attempt to modify one’s gender by surgery or bodily modification is banned by God. (1 Thessalonians 4:1–8; Genesis 2:24; Leviticus 18:1–30; Romans 16:26–29; Matthew 5:8; 1 Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 6:9)

We consider marriage to be valid only between a man and a woman. (See 1 Corinthians 7:2 and 39; 1 Timothy 3:12 and 12; Genesis 2:24).

Connections within the Family

We think that men and women are spiritually equal in God’s eyes. On the other hand, God has ordained spiritual duties for men and women in the home and church that are unique and distinct. The wife is the head of the household, while men serve as church leaders (pastors and deacons). Men are, therefore, ineligible for church licenses and ordination. (1 Timothy 2:18; 3:14; Galatians 3:28; Colossians 3:18).

According to our beliefs, God established the family as the basic unit of human civilization. The husband is commanded to love his wife as Christ loves the church. Similar to how the church submits to Christ’s authority, the wife submits to her husband’s spiritual leadership. We believe God hates divorce and that marriages are meant to remain until one spouse dies. Children are a gift from God to their parents, whom they must obey. Parents are responsible for establishing spiritual and moral values in their children and demonstrating the proper discipline, including biblical corporal punishment, through consistent lifestyle examples and appropriate discipline. (Gen. 1:27-28; Eph. 5:21-33; 1st Pet. 3:1-2, 5; Mal. 2:14-16; Mk. 10:4-12; Col. 3:18-21; Psa. 127:35; Eph. 6:1-4; Deut. 6:4-9; Prov. 19:18; 22:15; 23:13-14;

Abortion

Human life begins at conception, and we consider the unborn child a living individual. Abortion is the unjustified and unreasonable termination of the life of an unborn child. Abortion is comparable to murder. We reject any teaching that abortion is acceptable for pregnancies originating from rape, incest, congenital abnormalities, gender selection, birth control, or the emotional or mental health of the mother (Luke 1:31-57; Psalm 139:14-16; Isaiah 44:24; 49:1,5; Jeremiah 1:5; Exodus 21:22-29; Jeremiah 1:5).

Love

RephraseWe thinks that we should demonstrate love to everyone, including nonbelievers. Those with whom we disagree should be addressed with politeness, mildness, calmness, and respect. God opposes spreading dissension, pursuing vengeance, threatening, or doing violent acts to resolve personal issues or achieve personal justice. God instructs us to refrain from immoral action and love and pray for those who engage in it. (Lev. 19:18; Luke 6:31; John 13:34–35; Rom.

Missions

We believe God has given the church a vast mandate to “Go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and instructing them to do all I have told you.” As Christ’s ambassadors, we must make every effort to spread the Good News throughout our nation and the world. (Matt. 28:19; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46–48; John 20:21; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:20)

Giving

As stewards of their portion of God’s wealth, we believe that all Christians are obligated to support their local church financially. We think that God established the tithe as a foundation for charity. Every Christian should gladly and sacrificially donate to church maintenance, support those in need, and spread the Gospel. Matthew 25:14–30; Proverbs 3:1–10; Galatians 6:6; 1 Timothy 5:17–18; Genesis 14:20; 1 Corinthians 16:2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7; Ephesians 4:28; 1 John 3:17).
